This site is a single page describing a book. It is deliberately simple, and so is this policy.
Nothing directly. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no newsletter capture, no analytics scripts and no advertising or tracking pixels on samstateguy.com.
The site stores one item in your browser's local storage — a flag recording that you have already been shown the one-time offer popup, so that it does not appear again. It contains no personal information, never leaves your browser, and clearing your browser data removes it.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser type and requested page) to serve the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's own privacy documentation for details of that processing.
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when the page loads. That request is subject to Google's privacy policy.
Checkout is not handled here. Every buy button sends you to Gumroad, which processes the order, the payment and the delivery of the file. Any name, email address and payment details you enter are given to Gumroad, not to this site, and are handled under Gumroad's privacy policy and terms. This site never sees or stores your payment information.
After a purchase, Gumroad provides the seller with order information such as your email address, so that the product can be delivered and so that you can be contacted about it. That email address is used only for those purposes and is not sold or rented to anyone.
If you email [email protected], your message and address are used only to reply to you.
You can ask what order information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to the address above. Requests about payment records held by Gumroad may need to be made to Gumroad directly.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
